Before starting Very Cool Stuff, Rory Colby was the owner of a manufacturer’s rep company, VCS, representing a vendor who had stainless steel gazing globes. Eventualy, Rory went to China and sourced the products himself. He came home, built a 2,400sq. ft. pole barn and created a sister company to VCS, naming it Very Cool Stuff. He started with a single category of imported stainless-steel gazing globes, in two color options of Rainbow and Silver. Over time, new categories were introduced providing a wider variety of indoor and outdoor decor options. The stainless steel globe category alone has expanded to ten color options, available in multiple sizes. Currently, there are eight categories and nearly 500 sku’s from wall decor to metal planters, garden accents and more! Very Cool Stuff is currently working with more than 10 factories across the United States, India and China, bringing you 50 to 100 new items every year to stay ahead of the ever-changing trends! Very Cool Stuff has grown into a 19,000sq. ft. warehouse, owned and operated by 5 dedicated individuals, and has become one of the leading suppliers of unique indoor/outdoor garden decor in the USA!
